Jon Coupal, President of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association, warns property owners of possible initiative to be placed on the statewide ballot.
The proposal is to tinker the intent and purposes of the original Proposition 13 measure, which was passed overwhelmingly in 1978. Silicon Valley wealthy elite wants to initiate Parcel Tax measure and their proposal to the Attorney General for a ballot measure to be called, "Classroom Learning and Accountability Act" How convenient, eh?
