Is Ms. Schlotterbeck still paid for working for purchases of land for conservation purposes?
The headline says residents are concerned and have raised questions as to the purpose for the purchase, but the article itself fails to quote even a single Diamond Bar resident expressing such concerns or questions.
The only person quoted as failing to appreciate the wisdom of purchasing 120 acres for $150K is Brea resident Schlotterbeck.
Obviously, Diamond Bar residents are all smart enough to figure out that if an opportunity such as this comes around, you jump at it.
So, what part of this story is news?
The only concern this story raises for me has to do with whether anyone told the person responsible for writing its headline that they should take the time to actually read the story before adding their contribution.
